Answers to common questions about our 3D-printed vivarium decorations and accessories.
Are your products suitable for reptiles and vivariums?
Our products are designed specifically for use in vivariums and reptile enclosures. Each design is made with practical use, stability and appearance in mind. Please always check that the size and design are appropriate for your individual animal and enclosure.
What are your products made from?
Our products are 3D printed using the material specified on each individual product page. We select materials and print settings with the intended use of the product in mind. Please refer to the product description for the exact material used for your chosen item.
How are your products made?
Every West Hill Dynamics product is 3D printed and finished individually in our workshop in Plymouth, England. We design and develop our own products with the aim of creating unique, practical and visually appealing vivarium decorations and accessories.
Will my item look exactly like the photos?
Each item is individually 3D printed, so there may be very small differences in layer lines, surface texture and appearance between prints. Colours can also vary slightly depending on lighting and screen settings. We consider these normal characteristics of 3D printing and part of what makes each piece unique.
Do you accept custom orders?
We are happy to consider custom requests where possible. If you have an idea for a particular size, shape or vivarium accessory, contact us with what you are looking for and we will let you know what we can do. The maximum size is 26 × 26 × 26 cm due to printer constraints.
How do I clean my 3D-printed decoration?
For general cleaning, remove the item from the enclosure and wash it with warm water and a mild, reptile-safe cleaning solution where appropriate. Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents and very high temperatures, as these may damage the print.
How long will my order take to make and arrive?
Production can take up to 3 days before dispatch. For UK mainland orders, standard delivery typically takes 2 days after dispatch, while express delivery aims to arrive within 1 day after dispatch. Delivery times are estimates and may vary.
